New Day. New Hero.
Tick. Tick. Tick. The clock ticks once again in Fox‘s latest revival, 24: Legacy, and we were able to catch up with the cast and creators at San Diego Comic Con.
In the new series, Corey Hawkins stars as former Army Ranger Eric Carter, and tells us how excited he is to be part of the franchise. Growing up Hawkins said he never witnessed an American Hero look like him on TV, and that was interesting to him because this was a true representation of what America is today. He also discusses how his character is neither replacing nor trying to be a different Jack Bauer, but is simple a new character in the series. The creators went on to say that as soon as they saw Hawkins in Straight Outta Compton, they knew he was perfect for the Eric Carter role, and they are lucky they have him.
