Gotham is returning for a third season promising to be better than the last. Last year, its finale garnered 5.55 million viewers, so it’s no wonder millions of fans are wondering what will happen next.
We were able to sit down with some of the stars at San Diego Comic Con, who informed us that not only is every character going through major transformation this season, but monsters are coming together to bring down the city. As the subtitle of the season goes, “Heroes will fall”, it is really an indications of Gordon’s journey through the season.
To learn more about the upcoming season, check out our interviews with some of the stars; Erin Richards as Barbara Kean, Ben McKenzie as James Gordon, David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne, Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot, Morena Baccarin as Leslie Thompkins, Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle and Jessica Lucas as Tabitha Galavan.
Gotham is an origin story of the great DC Comics Super-Villains and vigilantes, revealing an entirely new chapter that has never been told. From executive producer/writer Bruno Heller (“The Mentalist,” “Rome”), GOTHAM follows one cop’s rise through a dangerously corrupt city teetering between good and evil, and chronicles the birth of one of the most popular super heroes of our time. The series stars Ben McKenzie (“Southland,” “The O.C.”), Donal Logue (“Vikings,” “Sons of Anarchy”), Jada Pinkett Smith (“Hawthorne,” “Collateral”) and Robin Lord Taylor (“The Walking Dead”).
Gotham is based upon the characters from DC Comics and is produced by Warner Bros. Television. Executive producer Bruno Heller wrote the pilot, which was directed and executive-produced by Emmy Award nominee Danny Cannon (the “CSI” franchise, “Nikita”). John Stephens serves as an executive producer on the series.
Gotham Season 3 will premiere on September 19 at 8 PM ET on FOX.
